IP Commercialisation
Unlock the potential of in-house organisational IP, to create new, innovative startups or service lines from within your existing intellectual capital. Our project teams are formed around experienced researchers, engineers, and entrepreneurs, so we fully understand the process of IP-to-product-to-market and how to best analyse and select the most promising IP candidates for commercialisation.

Innovation Sourcing
A two-day pre-programme where deep tech startups tackle a series of real-life startup challenges, ranging from the initial technology-to-idea phase to investor pitching. Our D-TECHATHON aims to generate deal-flow and serve as a screening and selection mechanism for deep tech innovation. Emphasis is placed on team development, PoC planning and execution, go-to-market strategies, financial modelling, and investor fundraising. With regular cohorts of between 10-15 startups, each event is aligned to either a sector or technology theme.
The winners are determined by aggregate scores across key metrics and receive an investment or a prize, as provided by the client.

Venture Building
Have we mentioned deep tech is hard? It’s worth mentioning again. Typically, the innovation we help bring to market for our clients is foundational, multi-disciplined and for industrial-level applications in space, autonomous mobility, health, education, agriculture, power and sustainability.
The combination of advanced maths, science, engineering, and design requires rare domain expertise to succeed and not all research see the light of day. Add to that the potentially longer timeframes and increased levels of investment, and it’s clear that deep tech is far more than your typical food delivery app. This is where we come in.
Deep tech can be de-risked and delivered at scale, within shorter time frames and within the confines of traditional investment levels, as long as there is a robust, dynamic and commercially focused framework in support.
Our series of inter-connected programmes are designed to provide this support, enabling founders across the early-stage entrepreneurial journey to develop their PoC, (Proof of Concept) and value propositions far more efficiently and effectively than would otherwise be the case. Nothing is too early for us, from peer-reviewed paper onwards, we understand the space and are resourced to share with the founders our wealth of technical and commercial know-who.

Accelerating
For startups that have completed their PoC and with a pilot deployed in a commercial setting, the next part of the deep tech journey is the MVP, (Minimal Viable Product), where speed to market is critical but typically resources, knowhow and networks are limited. Enter D-TECHSCALE, our deep tech accelerator programme, created to enable deep tech startups to rapidly progress from a pilot with limited features to a value-laden and commercially adopted MVP. Focus is on product feature-set development, go-to-market planning and execution, customer acquisition, financial modelling, pitch preparation and investor engagement.

Co-Venturing
All large organisations have invaluable commercial know-how, masses of proprietary data and deep sales networks. Often what is missing is the technical expertise to convert corporate assets into new product lines or completely new startups. D-TECHCORP is our co-venturing solution for corporates, created to assist with building-out highly technical one-off innovation opportunities within the confines of corporate structures.
